Digital collectibles platform RCRDSHP has closed a seed round of over $ 5 million led by Dapper Labs. CoinDesk reports .

Well-known NFT collectors Metakovan and Twobadour joined the game developer CryptoKitties as investors .

The marketplace will be powered by Dapper Labs' Flow blockchain, on which the firm has hosted the popular NBA Top Shot NFT platform .

RCRDSHP (reads record shop) releases collectible token sets that "include a unique aspect of the artists, labels or festivals of the electronic music world."

The site's latest NFT package featured artist portraits and other themed images. The collection of 7777 items sold out in less than two minutes.

As a reminder, in early September, the weekly NFT trading volume fell more than three times below the August record of $ 1.05 billion.
